Gaga Wannabes
Dear Bridget Marquardt,
We're sure it hurt when you split from Hugh Hefner, and it sucks that Bridget's Sexiest Beaches lasted only one season. But dressing like a stripper from another planet won't boost your status on this one.

Cosmo
Yes, her outfit is a little crazy and over the top, but well, she was the host of a futuristic-themed "Party Like It's 2033" event for SVEDKA vodka which was held at Moon. So over the top "space girl" was pretty much the perfect look. Also, anyone who watched Marquardt on Girls Next Door would know that she is a huge fan of Halloween and costumes. It's not as though she picked that outfit to walk the red carpet or go out to dinner. And she certainly didn't wear it to "boost her status".

But what on earth (no pun intended) does this have to do with Lady Gaga? Apparently now any "weird" outfit is Gaga-esque, even if it's unlike anything she's worn before? And why would this make Marquardt a Gaga "wannabe"?

Apparently Cosmo wasn't even original on this one either. US Weekly made fun of Marquardt for wearing the same outfit way back in their March 29, 2010 issue.
She responded to their criticism on her website:
This photo was obviously taken at the SVEDKA Vodka Party like it is 2033 event. The marketing people from SVEDKA and I collaborated on a futuristic themed space girl outfit for me to wear because I was hosting the THEMED event.
So months later Cosmo reprints basically the same insults that Marquardt refuted back in March? It would've been pretty easy to determine that this was a costume and not a regular outfit. Guess they don't bother to fact check any of that shit. Who cares about being accurate when you have an opportunity to tear someone down in order to make yourself feel better!?
