We've decided to cross-post some of our recent political blog entries over on our other site The Good Authority. Why? So that we can get more people to read them!
We are not giving up on the "Evil Slutopia" name or concept, but we realized that some of our readers wanted to send links to our political blog entries to their parents and other people who might not get the whole "evil slut" thing right away. (It took me a while to convince my mom about it too).
Our goal to take back the word slut is still very strong and we will not compromise on that. We are not selling out and we are not giving up! But we do acknowledge the fact that not everyone is open-minded enough (yet) to read something called Evil Slutopia. We hope that once people do give us a chance, they will understand what we are all about and appreciate our blog for what it is... but right now keeping McCain and Palin out of office is more important than anything else.
Since The Good Authority is already our more serious, research-heavy blog... we decided that until Election day, we will be cross-posting all important election-related blogs on both sites. We still feel very strongly about never giving up the "evil slut" movement, but we think that getting as many people as possible to educate themselves about the candidates is the more pressing need.
You can currently find all of our most recent Election blogs posted on both sites and all future blogs on the subject will also be available on both sites. We do prefer that you link to Evil Slutopia whenever possible, but at the moment we believe that the message is more important than the vessel. Please spread the word.
If we can change even one vote, then it will be worth it.
