Waiter: You can't sit here. We're not allowed to let people sit until everyone who is eating dinner is finished... unless you order food.
Jezebel: Okay, so what if we just order french fries or something?
Waiter: Ha ha, very funny. (starts to walk away)
Jezebel: But, wait...
Lilith: Are you going to bring us a menu?

Whenever I oreder a Diet Pepsi they ask, "is Coke okay?" What if I said no, would they go find me a Pepsi?

Would you rather the server pretend they have Diet Pepsi and bring you Diet Coke? Maybe you would like to order something else, since they don't have Pepsi - how's the server supposed to know?
